Extreme Tournaments

The Extreme Tournament is the main event in Play65™ schedule. These daily internet backgammon tournaments are held at peak hours (usually between 19 and 21 GMT) offering especially large, exciting prizes. The minimum prize pool can grow even further if the required number of participants exceeds the minimum.

High Rating Backgammon Tournaments

Backgammon tournaments for Play65™ top backgammon players whose rating is higher than 1600. There are three types of "high rating tournaments" based on the tournament prize's height: High-rating 80, High-rating 100 and High-rating 120. The prizes are split between only four winners.

Low Rating Backgammon Tournaments

Backgammon tournaments for Play65™ players with rating lower than 1650, allowing the less experienced players to play backgammon online in a less stressful environment. There are two types of daily "low rating tournaments" with two types of prize pools and entry fees: Low-rating 40 and Low-rating 80.

Satellite Tournaments

Backgammon tournaments where the winner (or winners) receive free entry to another (live or online) backgammon tournament with higher entry fee. with higher entry fee. That way, the winner/s of a "satellite tournament" actually enters a bigger tournament with larger prizes by paying a lower buy-in to the satellite. Occasionally, Play65™ hosts internet satellites for live backgammon tournaments, in which the 1st prize might include entry fees to the live tournament plus flight and accommodation at the tournament destination.
