Victor Ashkenazi won the championship tournament of the New York Metropolitan Backgammon open, held in New Jersey, January 5-8, 2012. Victor, with Falafel as his partner, took part in the finals of the New York Doubles, as well. Victor had won two major backgammon tournaments in the past; Las Vegas open in 2007 and New York Open in 2009. Congratulations Victor on your impressive achievement!
