Dice

The two small cubes, which are tossed at the beginning of each turn in a backgammon game; the numbers rolled indicate the number of pips a player should move his checkers. The dice are marked with dots (also known as pips), which stand for the numbers 1-6; and their angles are usually rounded to help them roll easily.
