These daily internet backgammon tournaments are held at peak hours (usually between 19 and 21 GMT) offering especially large, exciting prizes. The minimum prize pool can grow even further if the required number of participants exceeds the minimum.

Satellite Tournaments Backgammon tournaments where the winner (or winners) receive free entry to another (live or online) backgammon tournament with higher entry fee. with higher entry fee. That way, the winner/s of a "satellite tournament" actually enters a bigger tournament with larger prizes by paying a lower buy-in to the satellite. Occasionally, Play65™ hosts internet satellites for live backgammon tournaments, in which the 1st prize might include entry fees to the live tournament plus flight and accommodation at the tournament destination.
